Terms of service.

The plain-language deal between you and us when you put freight on our truck.

Last updated July 29, 2026

These terms

These terms apply when you book a shipment with Lickety Split Express, use licketysplit-express.com, or hold a customer account with us. Booking a shipment means you accept them. If you’re booking on behalf of a company, you’re confirming you’re allowed to do that.

What we do

We run a dedicated express freight lane between Twin Falls, ID and Salt Lake City, UT, serving the towns along it. We move pallets, pipe, packages, crates, parts, and similar freight, door to door.

Booking and quotes

The price shown when you book is calculated from the weight and service level you enter. If what we pick up differs materially from what you booked — heavier, more pieces, a different address — we may re-price the shipment and will tell you before we do.

You’re responsible for the accuracy of what you give us: addresses, contact numbers, weights, and any handling instructions. Bad address information is the most common cause of a late delivery.

Payment

  • Guest bookings are prepaid by card at the time of booking. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Account customers are invoiced at month end for the shipments completed that month. The month-end invoice is the official bill of record; the per- shipment receipt in your account is a convenience copy.

Pickup and delivery

We’ll pick up and deliver within the windows quoted for your service level. We work hard to hit them, and we’ll call you if something is going to slip. Weather, road closures, mechanical trouble, and events outside our control can move a delivery.

Someone needs to be available to hand over and receive the freight. If you asked for a signature, we’ll get one. If nobody is there and you’ve authorized a designated drop, we’ll leave it as instructed and record proof of delivery.

What we can't carry

We don’t haul hazardous materials, live animals, illegal goods, cash or negotiable instruments, or anything requiring a permit or license we don’t hold. If you’re unsure, call us before you book — we’d rather talk it through than turn up and decline the load.

Claims

If freight arrives damaged or short, note it at delivery if you can and tell us as soon as possible — promptly reported problems are far easier to resolve. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law governing motor carriers. We don’t cover indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or downtime.

If your freight is high value, tell us before we load it so we can handle it accordingly.

Cancellations

Cancel before we roll and there’s no charge. If we’ve already dispatched a truck to your dock, we may charge for the trip. Prepaid guest bookings that we cancel are refunded to the original card.

Text message (SMS) communications

If you provide a mobile number and opt in, we may text you about your shipment. Consent is not a condition of service. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile opt-in information with third parties for marketing. See our Text Message Terms.

Your account

Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself — anything booked from your account is treated as booked by you. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access.

This website

The Lickety Split Expressname, logo, and the content of this site belong to us. Don’t copy them for your own use. We keep the site accurate and available as best we can, but we don’t warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The terms in force when you book are the ones that apply to that shipment.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by applicable federal law governing interstate motor carriers.
